Smart Glutes Training #49
Why Smart? Because it trains glutes through 3 Planes. Our body can anatomically move in three planes : side -to-side, front & back, or rotationally, respectively, therefore to train them effectively, we work them through natural planes.
Equipment needed: a kettlebell and a dumbbell.
I really like this one and have been coming back to it about every week. I’m getting better at the moves that are more difficult for me.

I feel it in my thoughts and calves sometimes but never in my glutes, sounds normal ?

Yeah! Just try to be more mindful about the glutes when you're performing the exercise -- mind-muscle connection. Also try to work out barefoot, push with your feet and your toes for better connection.
Great to see strength growing. Still find squats hard with my knees. Can I do a variation on a squat to build up to them?
Absolutely, Emma! If you find anything too difficult and believe that a variation would help you do the workout better, then you should do it. Listen to your body first and always!
Fantastic workout! I was looking for the run fit workouts , or will the smart glutes workouts be enough to get strong for running again?
HI Hermien!yes absolutely, do 2 SMart Glutes classes weekly and dont forget the Core and Feel Good classes. ALl of these are mega important to prep you for running!
